Florida News Miami Dolphins - NFL
Any wins past this point gravy on a successful Dolphins season Sun, 23 Nov 2008 00:00:00 -0500 - ©South Florida Sun-Sentinel A big finish incredibly may net Dolphins AFC East title, but '08 a success, no matter what
The Dolphins don't need to hear this. So whisper it instead, and hope the crowd at Dolphin Stadium is loud enough (for a change) to drown it out:

WHO HAS THE EDGE? Sun, 23 Nov 2008 00:00:00 -0500 - ©South Florida Sun-Sentinel DOLPHINS RUNNING GAME VS. PATRIOTS RUN DEFENSE Although the Dolphins gashed the Patriots for 216 rushing yards in the first meeting, much of that had to do with the Wildcat ambush, so Bill Belichick's defense will be ready this time. Ronnie Brown was phenomenal in that game with 113 yards, including four rushing TDs and a passing score. Ricky Williams gained 98 yards as well. Despite the recent loss of LB Adalius Thomas, the Patriots haven't given up more than 60 rushing yards in their past two games, thanks in part to blossoming rookie LB Jerod Mayo, who has 85 tackles. Cassel No Longer An Inexperienced Backup Sun, 23 Nov 2008 00:00:00 -0500 - ©South Florida Sun-Sentinel Understudies of the world, unite. Take note of the story of Matt Cassel and make the most of your time on stage.

For many Dolphins, big game is oddity Sat, 22 Nov 2008 00:00:00 -0500 - ©South Florida Sun-Sentinel Sparano asks to not overhype Pats' visit
Dolphins cornerback André Goodman makes no bones about it. Sunday's sold-out home game against the New England Patriots is the "biggest" of his seven-year career.

Dolphins WR Greg Camarillo follows in Wes Welker's footsteps Fri, 21 Nov 2008 00:00:00 -0500 - ©South Florida Sun-Sentinel When Dolphins receiver Greg Camarillo walked into Wes Welker's vacated house 20 months ago as a potential renter and saw jersey No. 83 in a frame on the wall he thought it was an omen.

Satele girds for Wilfork Fri, 21 Nov 2008 00:00:00 -0500 - ©South Florida Sun-Sentinel Speed and quickness set Dolphins center Samson Satele apart.

Sparano's fourth-down gambles pay off Fri, 21 Nov 2008 16:39:00 -0500 - ©South Florida Sun-Sentinel Just because Dolphins coach Tony Sparano is a disciple of team vice president Bill Parcells doesn't mean he shares the same hobbies such as handicapping horses.

Tony Sparano's comments following Thursday's practice Fri, 21 Nov 2008 10:22:00 -0500 - ©South Florida Sun-Sentinel (On the signing of LB Eric Walden) - "[He's a] big, fast guy, runs really well, pass rush ability, four-core special teams player where he was, which was important for us. [He's] just another big linebacker that we thought might be a guy that we would want to take a look at; has played on all four special teams. Has been active in pretty much 10 games, I think, in Kansas City. This was a guy we thought a lot about, we wanted to get a look at. Again, he's got some qualities that we're looking for."
